Princess Peach

Brian had to go to New York last minute for work so Eddie and I headed to California. The timing couldn't have been more perfect. Emily went into labor at 2am the night we arrived! Georgia arrived March 15th at 8:01am weighing 8lbs 1oz. Emily didn't find out what she was having so a little girl was such a fun surprise! Jared on the other hand knew the entire pregnancy and kept it a secret!! I was shocked and very impressed that he was able to not give it away. It was so fun being pregnant with Em, but I can't even explain how fun it is having kids 4wks apart.
Its hilarious and so fun being around the Spears family. Georgia is never seen without a bow in her hair, and if it falls out you hear emily say, "oh no!! she's naked! " Then you have the big brothers and sister singing "George, George, Georgia of the Jungle" or arguing about who's turn it is to hold Georgia Peach. We wish so much we could live close to them and go jogging with jogging strollers everyday :), but cell phones and pictures messages will have to do for now.

Family Pictures

We decided to have family/baby announcement pictures taken when Eddie was 2weeks old. Holly Aprecio in Lake Stevens took them for us. She did such a great job and was so patient with a new born. It was so fun to take so many pictures of "Baby Eddie!"

Grandma and Papa Come to Town...

My mom came into town the day after Eddie was born. She was here for 2 1/2 weeks and we loved every minute of it! She helped us come home from the hospital, cooked, cleaned, did laundry, helped give Eddie his first bath, stayed up with me at all hours of the night to feed Eddie, answered all of my "is this normal?!" questions, and the list goes on. Papa came in for the weekend and was glued to Eddie! We were so sad to have them go home but we are so so grateful for everything Grandma and Papa do for us!

Introducing....

He is finally here! We are so excited about the newest addition to our family! Brian and I headed to the hospital Sunday January 17th at 12am just after my water broke. Let me just say, I was VERY ready to get the show on the road. I had called my mom earlier that day in tears telling her, "My back is killing me and I'm swollen everywhere. This baby is never going to come! This is just a cruel cruel joke!!!" Its amazing what hormones will make you think. :)
12 hours into labor and it was finally time for me to get my epidural. What a relief! I told Brian to go home and take a shower because I knew I wouldn't be pushing until that evening. He kept his cell phone close to him and headed home. I was just happy to get a solid hour of sleep! I woke up about 1:15pm and buzzed Suzy (my nurse) because I was feeling nauseated. She checked to see how far I was dilated because I guess nausea is common in labor. With wide eyes she said, "lets call Brian, you are ready to push!" "Are you kidding me?! I just sent him home to shower!" Luckily Brian thinks he is a race car driver. He jumped in the car and made the 25min drive in about 15minutes! The best part about it is that there was a highway patrol on the freeway so Brian rolled his window down and yelled, "my wife's in labor!!" the cop just laughed and waved him ahead!
By 3:11pm our not so little Edward Andreas was born! 8lbs 3oz, 20inches long. He is healthy and doing great! We are so blessed.
I was so lucky to have a "good labor" experience. My nurses were great! Suzy was my main nurse (the one in the picture). Both her and Dr. Blackham delivered Brian 25 years ago! It was so neat to have them deliver Eddie.
